Super Bowl Champ to be featured in Brands First Global Men's Initiative

UGG® Australia announced today that it is partnering with NFL superstar Tom Brady of the New England Patriots to launch its first Men's marketing initiative. The multi-year collaboration between the three-time Super Bowl champion and the brand will include casual footwear as well as select outerwear and accessories. UGG® Australia will feature Brady in its global multimedia marketing initiative beginning with the Fall 2011 Collection.

Since 1978 when an Australian named Brian Smith first brought the high-quality sheepskin boots worn by surfers to the United States, UGG® Australia has expanded its product offerings to include a full range of Men's cold weather boots, slippers and casual shoes, as well as outerwear and Men's accessories. In recent years, the brand history has been eclipsed by the phenomenal success of its Women's business. UGG® Australia's Women's products include a broad assortment of footwear including boots, casuals, slippers, handbags, outerwear, and accessories.

"Given the global phenomenon that is UGG® Australia's Women's business, it's easy to forget that we started as a Men's brand among California surfers," said UGG® Australia President Constance X. Rishwain.

"Collaborating with Tom gives us the unique opportunity to create new energy around our Men's product and launch our first marketing campaign targeted to the male consumer."

UGG® Australia will launch the Men's marketing campaign with its first athlete endorser in the fall of 2011 with a global campaign. Brady will also consult on product inspiration for future seasonal collections.

The North Face Snowboarders Damon Hayler and Chumpy Pullin enjoy fresh spring snow in New Zealand



Making the most of the end of the 2011 Winter season, The North Face snowboarders Damon Hayler and Alex Chumpy Pullin spent the last ten days in New Zealand, in search of fresh powder, big lines and some Kiwi adventure.

After waiting for the weather window to appear, they hit the road to head off to the kiwi club field of Temple Basin, near Arthur's Pass on New Zealand's South Island. With mint conditions on arrival, they couldn't be more stocked.

They discover what makes riding the club fields of New Zealand such a unique experience, from the lift accessed big mountain terrain, humble hut accommodation, majestic landscapes and cheeky Kea birds.

Newest in The North Face Athlete team, and current Boarder X world champion, Chumpy said he couldn't wait to get back there. “It was great to hang out with Damon, he's someone who has so much experience in the backcountry, I am just trying to absorb all the different techniques, and everything I picked up along the way is amazing, you can never know enough in the backcountry.”

Damon added:“New Zealand is such a cool place...they just let you do things”.

Speedo Beach Summer 11 Runway Show

Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Sydney

With our first ever show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion festival, Speedo showcased the Beach Fashion collection for Summer 2011. This was not the Speedo of old; the collection featured, sexy cuts and creative prints on bikini's, one pieces and boardies.

Rachael Finch, Eamon Sullivan and Sophie Van Den Akker graced the catwalk showcasing Speedo's beachwear like you have never seen before. A range of limited edition Speedo Aquabumps Women's, Men's and Kids' swimwear made up an exciting capsule in the Speedo Beach Summer 2011 show.

Both born out of Bondi, Speedo and Aquabumps have a lot to thank the iconic beach for, so we decided to take Eugene Tan's remarkable imagery of our brand's spiritual home, and create a range of unique prints to apply to our swimwear.

The show was a phenomenal success, with a media frenzy applauding the show and it's shining star Rachael Finch alongside Olympian Eamon Sullivan. The range has been received exceptionally well by the public and media alike.

Rachael Finch stole the show with her amazing figure and overwhelming smile. The camera's were loving the cheekiness of Eamon Sullivan and his jeering team mates Libby Trickett, Geoff Huegill and James Magnussen.
